We are eight people in one room in San Francisco
No account managers, no offshore build team, no layer of people between you and whoever is moving the pixels. When you send feedback on a Tuesday, the designer who made the thing reads it on Tuesday.
That size is deliberate. It caps how much work we can take on, which means we turn down projects, which means the ones we accept get the attention they need. It has been the single best decision we ever made about how to run a studio.
Three things we will not compromise on
Say the awkward thing early
If we think a request will hurt the result, we say so in week one rather than quietly building it and hoping nobody notices.
Small team, senior people
The people you meet in the first call are the people doing the work. Nothing gets handed down to someone you have never spoken to.
Leave it maintainable
A site you cannot update is a site that decays. We hand over documentation, a CMS, and a team that knows how to use both.
